This café is one of the most long-lived in Palma and it is very popular for many reasons including its fascinating and always impeccable aspect.
The decor is indeed very accurate and elegant and it is composed by some kitsch elements such as the fountain inside the local, some typical traditional hand made objects belonging to the tradition of Mallorca, for example, the magnificent chandeliers painted in a bright green.
Other reasons of why this bar is particularly famous and attended, are certainly its culinari specialities, all strictly made with simple and esteemed pastry, including, without a doubt, the "ensaimadas", a sort of pastries with the donuts shape and rolled up to spiral, always just made and, still, the excellent fruit mousse, really unforgettable!!
The café also has a subsidiary, more modern for what concerns the decor, but always with the same particular and elegant style. It is situated at C/ Baro' Santa Maria del Sepulcre 5, close to Avgda Jaume III and it is open on the same days and at the same time.
While the Ca´n Joan de S'Aigo headquarte is situated in a small street near Placa Santa Eulalia and find it can be quite complicated: you should take the Via c/Sant Crist and continue for its continuation C/ Canisseria; C/ Can Sanc, the road where it is located the cafe', is just after on the right.
