Sport t Majorca

The daily life of Mallorca is completely focused on the beach: near the major tourist attractions there are numerous companies that rent sporting equipment suitable for many types of sport and aquatic activities

barca a vela

Here, in fact, you can practise every kind of activity, from the sailngboat to the water skiing and to windsurfing, until arriving, for the laziest, to the classic pedalò.
Of course, it can also be possible to practise the scuba diving, even if the seabed of Mallorca is not among the most scenic of the Balearic Islands; however you can find some color in the waters of the island Sa Dragonera and near Cala Figuera.
Furthermore, on many beaches are held interesting competitions of sand castles, a discipline that is growing interest also in Italy in the recent years. However, to practice these activities it is not necessary to book in advance, just go there in the morning preferably early enough.
For what concerns the sport and the activities far from the water, besides the bicycle it is possible to ride a horse (or the pony) or take excursions of different difficulty levels.
On the promontory of Serra de Tramuntana are present many trails, populated primarily during the spring and the autumn in fact, it is not recommended to take excursions in the peak of the summer.
