Sant Elm is a tourist town of middle-level, consisting mainly of a long road that runs throughout the coast and cuts it in half: on one side there is a great sandy beach, while the other side is occupied by a small port, from which depart many ferries. And precisely this boats and ferries traffic, mainly direct to the nearby island of Sa Dragonera, a protected Natural Park, makes the place a little more populated.
However Sant Elm is not really anything special and the few people who pas by are interested only to the natural park.
