ES TRENC

Es Trenc is a wide beach near Colonia De Sant Jordi, and, among other things, this is one of the reasons why the town is always so full of tourists.
This enormous golden beach extends for approximately four kilometres, and it is really a fascinating spectacle: anyway, the area is not Immaculate and uncontaminated, even if the urban development is minimum and almost non-existent.
Its great popolarity is perhaps due to the fact that the lido, in addition to be quite beautiful, it is large enough to host, and in a quite order way, a large quantity of tourists.
The only period a year in which this part of coast becomes really overloaded and chaotic, is during the peak of the high season, in July and mainly in August; in these months it is rather exasperating to try and secure a place on the vast coast, and also swimming becomes a stressful situation.
At the two beach estremities there are the areas called respectively Campos and Ses Covetes: in the latter stretch of the beach there are huts and often arise abusive stalls, rather ugly and annoying.
The opposite zone is less chaotic, and therefore much more pleasant: to get there we must go to the north of Colonia de Sant Jordi, and, after about a kilometre, turn left on a street indicated with some cartels; after about three kilometres we must turn again left, always following the indications towards Campos, and then follow the road in the country that crosses the saline and arrives to the huge parking lot of the eastern part of the beach.
The way to go there is about seven kilometers long; the parking lot is very easy to reach and just a step from the coast, but the price is quiet expensive, four euros…anyway it is worthy to get here to enjoy a full and relaxing day at the sea!
