Space is essentially a disco for the day, which opens at the dawn when other clubs are closing down (however it also organize night events).
This extension of the night is entirely focused on the legendary terrace of the disco, which has always attracted a varied clientele, perhaps the most cosmopolitan of the island.
From the very beginnings in the 1990s, on Sundays Space has represented a fashion event not to loose, but the growing number of the other clubs in the area has somewhat diminished the phenomenon and made it less strong, the character of the Sunday evenings in the club. Now the most crowded and popular night is certainly that one of Saturday, which has a guidance much more local and "traditional".
The Space structure is very wide (about 3000 people capacity) and it is divided into two parts: a dark and mysterious one that it is the internal part of the Space, and then a magnificent terrace, embellished with sandstone walls, a lot of flowers and plants and a large bar with an elegant mahogany counter.
Other restructuring have been added to the club like two new upper levels: a balcony for the Vip area, and the Caja Roja (the red cabin), a strange and intimate room that saw a fantastic inauguration in 2004 with Smokin' Jo and Tim Sheriden as guests of honour. Also the enormous main room has been renovated recently, while retaining its style gloomy and dark, ideal for harder and pounding rhythms.
These are the 2009 partiest at the Space.
