The Sol d’en Serra beach, a thin sandy strip that is approximately 800 metres long south of Cala Llonga, is ideal for those who love the full intimacy and privacy: in fact this bay is rarely frequented by the masses and even in the high season it is almost deserted (without mentioning the months from October to May!!).
So, it is the perfect place for the lonely, but especially for the good swimmers: in fact the Sol d’en Serra shore is very exposed and the sea becomes agitated and rough in the windy days. For this reason is not the ideal place for families with small children, also because the beach, which stretches uncontaminated for 500 metres, is mostly formed by big pebbly not exactly easy to walk on and particularly not suitable for building sand castles!!
Sol d’en Serra is one of the few places near sea to offer a reasonable catering service: in the Sol d’en Serra restaurant, which is situated on the reef to the beach shoulders, you can taste excellent meals or snacks, or relax on the beach cots on the terrace which offers a charming sea view.
