Perhaps the wilder coastal zone and the most uncontaminated of the entire island, the tiny bay of Pou des lleò is situated in north-west of Cala Boix and it is really a small corner of paradise, with its extravagant horseshoe shape on which there are deployed picturesque fishermen huts.
The whole bay, a pebbly and rough sand inlet, is dominated by a shallow, splendid reddish reef.
As already said, the area is in the natural state, so the only facilities that you can find are a tiny kiosk (where, among the other things you can taste the grilled fish deliciously cooked and accompanied with frosty beer) and the restaurant Salvado', quite pleasant.
However, if you decide to visit this enchanting piece of coast toy must absolutely enjoy a journey on the beautiful road that from Cala Boix leads up to Pou des Lleo, passing through the interior through a lonely alley in the country long about 1 kilometer and surrounded by meadows and dry walls built with honey color pebblies.
