The Cala Longa beach, such as that of Talamanca, is a favourite destination by the family, for its tranquillity and confidentiality.
The bay, very small and north of Ibiza town, offers a real natural sight: it is indeed situated in a bay dominated by a high cliff. The place is among the most isolated and relaxing in the island with a very long beach about 300 metres long and washed by calm and clear waters.
This heavenly landscape it hasn’t remained, unfortunately, immaculate and uncontaminated as that one of Talalmanca: in fact to the north of the cliff a series of apartments and tourist structures, built in a irresponsabile way, ruin the splendid landscape.
A positive aspect of this increased ' civilisation' are the available comforts such as the beach cots, the umbrellas and the pedal boats, or the kiosk for the tourist information, open throughout the whole summer season: from May to October from Monday to Saturday from 10 to 14.
In Cala Llonga, as in most of the bathing areas of Ibiza, the presence of restaurants and refreshment areas instead is quiet reduced and not appealing: to enjoy the best dishes and specialities of the place we should go in the heart of the city or in the rural areas.
