Cala bassa is a quiet wide beach, about 250 metres of very thin sand, a gulf with the classic horseshoe form surrounded by a low cliff and by green cluster pines.
It can be said that this is one of the best known beaches of the whole Sant Antoni.
The great popularity of this place is due, as well as its undoubted beauty, especially to the various facilities offered: in addition to a large number of beach cots and beach umbrellas to rent and three large café-restaurants where you can eat and drink comfortably, in the bay it is also possible to practise various water sports, like water skiing or the amusing laps on the giant banana driven at high speed by a small boat.
Furthermore, it is also possible to make long swims in the clear water of the bay (which most of the times have been reported with the blue flag for its purity), in an area surrounded by a security network.
Then, as important is the wonderful view that you can enjoy from this corner of Ibiza: the indented cost of Cap Nuno' and the green hills of the north-west of the island.
